Description

Dermamelan® Treatment is the powerful at-home depigmentation cream within the professional Dermamelan protocol. The formula helps to reduce the overproduction of melanin and supports the reduction of melasma, PIH, age spots, and sun damage. The skin becomes brighter, more even, and visibly refined. This cream is used as a follow-up to the professional Dermamelan treatment or as an intensive home treatment under the guidance of a specialist.

Active ingredients

Azelaic acid: inhibits melanin formation and acts on inflammation-related discoloration.
Kojic acid: powerful tyrosinase inhibitor that brightens existing pigment spots.
Arbutin: blocks melanin production and helps prevent new pigment spots.
Phytic acid: antioxidant + pigment-correcting; improves cell renewal.
Niacinamide: inhibits transfer of melanin to keratinocytes; strengthens the skin barrier.
Retinyl palmitate: stimulates renewal and helps pigment fade faster.
Salicylic acid: mild exfoliation that improves absorption of active ingredients.

For whom (and when not)

Suitable for: melasma, PIH, age spots, sun spots, uneven complexion, pigment caused by hormones or UV.

Not recommended during: pregnancy/breastfeeding, active dermatitis, acid allergies, very sensitive skin, open wounds, or recent intensive peels (unless advised by a specialist). Always combine with SPF 50+ during the day.

Use

Use according to the personal treatment protocol (usually 1–2× per day). Apply to clean, dry skin. In case of irritation, reduce frequency or pause temporarily. Sun protection with SPF 50+ is essential during any pigment treatment.

Mesoestetic Dermamelan® Treatment is a professional treatment aimed at treating hyperpigmentation and melasma. It is a depigmenting treatment that focuses on regulating melanin production and reducing dark spots on the skin.

The treatment consists of 2 steps:

Step 1: Dermamelan Mask.
This is a powerful depigmenting mask that contains high concentrations of active ingredients. The mask is applied in the clinic and should remain on the skin for 8 to 12 hours.

Step 2: Dermamelan Maintenance Cream.
After removing the mask, the Dermamelan Maintenance Cream is used to soothe and hydrate the skin. This cream should be used daily to maintain the results of the treatment.

Important:
- This treatment must be performed by a trained professional.
- Avoid exposure to the sun after the treatment and always use sun protection with a high SPF.
- Due to the potent nature of this treatment, it may lead to some irritation and redness of the skin. It is important to follow the practitioner's instructions and soothe the skin with a soothing cream if necessary.

The use of Mesoestetic Dermamelan® Treatment is an intensive treatment that is performed by a professional skin specialist. The process consists of several steps and requires multiple visits to the clinic. Below is a general overview of the treatment process:

1. Cleaning the skin with a special cleanser to rid the surface of dirt and oils.

2. Applying the first Dermamelan® application, a powerful peeling that is applied to the face. The product should remain on the skin for a certain amount of time, depending on your skin type and response to the treatment.

3. After the peeling has taken effect, it is removed and a neutralizing agent is applied to the skin to stop the peeling.

4. A second application of the Dermamelan® product is applied and left on the skin for a certain amount of time.

5. After the processing time of the second application, it is removed and a mask is applied to soothe and hydrate the skin.

6. After a few days after the treatment, the skin may start to peel and flake. It is important to take good care of the skin during the healing process and to avoid sun exposure.

7. The skin therapist can advise you to undergo multiple treatments for the desired result.
