What is XL Hair®?

XL Hair® is a hair loss treatment. It stops hair loss, stimulates hair growth and activates the hair follicle (prolongs the anagen hair growth phase and shortens the telogen phase). It activates the hair follicle to produce healthy hair again, improving the volume of the hair.

XL Hair offers options to treat various forms of baldness and symptomatic hair loss (alopecia). Hair loss can be a symptom of a skin condition or a complementary symptom of another condition. Androgenetic alopecia (male pattern baldness due to DHT hormone) and Alopecia Areata (patchy baldness that can occur anywhere on the body) are indications where XL Hair is successful.

When is XL Hair an option?

XL Hair can be a good treatment option when hair follicles are still present and there is no co-morbidity or co-medication (contraceptive pill, certain antibiotics, antidepressants, chemotherapy and beta blockers for high blood pressure) that negatively affect hair growth.

The Hair XL is a hair booster that consists of various vitamins, hyaluronic acid and growth factors. These substances ensure that the hair follicles that lack nutrients are re-nourished, activated and/or reactivated. The treatment reduces/stops active hair loss within 3 months. In addition, the Hair XL stimulates hair growth.

By superficial injection with a mesogun or dermapen (microneedling), the vitamin is injected into the scalp and hair follicles. The treatment lasts 30 minutes per session and should be carried out in a cure.

Who is XL Hair® suitable for?

The treatment is suitable for both men and women, provided that the treatment protocol is strictly adhered to.

• Men receive a course of at least 6 treatments.
• Women receive a course of at least 8 treatments
• Both with an interval of 1 week.

The treatment should be maintained once every 6-8 months to maintain the results.

The Mesotherapy XL Hair treatment can be used for the following indications:

• Alopecia (bald spots, thinning hair)
• Other non-scarring forms of hair loss

You cannot undergo the treatment if you have the following indications and/or characteristics:

• Scarring alopecia
• Streptococcus infection
• Cortical therapy (adrenal cortical hormone)
• Immunosuppressants
• Acute joint rheumatism
• Recurrent angina (chest pain, chest tightness)
• Endocarditis (inflammation of heart valves)
• Allergy to one of the components of XL Hair

The skin should be undamaged and free from infections, skin diseases, etc. No studies have been done on use during pregnancy, lactation or in children under 18 years of age.

Aftercare

After the treatment, it is important that you do not wash your hair or use hair products for 48 hours.

The scalp may feel a bit irritated and warm, which can last for several hours.

In addition, sauna / swimming pool / strenuous exercise should be avoided for 48 hours after the treatment.
