A HydraFacial® treatment is an effective facial treatment that offers a solution for various conditions. A HydraFacial® treatment consists of three different steps that are followed during the treatment process. First of all, the HydraFacial® will cleanse the skin and remove dead skin cells through exfoliation and a mild peeling to clear the pores of dirt. Subsequently, deep impurities are sucked out of the skin by the HydraFacial®, with a specially developed device.

The HydraFacial® nourishes the skin during the treatment with vital nutrients such as antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid for ultimate radiant skin. As a result, the results are not only immediate, but also visible for a longer period of time.

How does a HydraFacial® treatment work

Step 1: Cleanse and exfoliate

The HydraFacial® has a special spiral-shaped attachment that ensures that cleaning can be done deep into the skin without causing damage to the skin. Due to the hermetic suction, pores are temporarily opened so that impurities can be extracted (sucked out) evenly. The dirt that is deep in the skin is sucked up and removed in this way.

Then we will foil your skin with the HydraFacial ™. We do this by means of a mild peeling, in which a mix of glycolic and salicylic acid is used. This peeling ensures that the top layer of the skin cells is removed and a radiant complexion is revealed. Because we use a mild peeling, you will not experience any pain or discomfort during the treatment.

Step 2: Hydration

When the first phase is over, we will start the second phase of the HydraFacial™. This step of the HydraFacial™ treatment is all about moisturizing the skin. A special serum is used to hydrate the skin. This serum is packed with moisturizing ingredients, peptides, antioxidants and collagen. This ensures that the skin is nourished with all vital nutrients that keep your skin healthy and radiant.

Step 3: Skin protection

To properly protect your skin against external influences, this last phase is very important. At the end of your HydraFacial™ treatment, the skin therapist will apply a moisturizing cream to your skin with a nourishing effect.

Personal treatment plan

A HydraFacial™ treatment is very personal: this means that we take a good look at your skin and the needs it has. We do this by means of a skin scan: it maps out the needs and problem areas of your skin. In this way we can treat the problem areas directly with the HydraFacial™.

For best results, you can repeat the HydraFacial™ a few times. In this way you not only ensure that skin problems such as acne or fine lines decrease or disappear, but you can also prevent other problems.

You cannot undergo the treatment if you have the following indications and/or characteristics:

• Autoimmune diseases;

• active sunburn;
• Taking certain medication (ask the skin therapist about this).

Aftercare Hydrafacial™

With a HydraFacial™ treatment, no further aftercare is required. You can immediately continue with your day after the treatment, such as: work, school or leisure activities. The skin can look slightly red, you don't have to be shocked by this and it is a completely normal reaction of the skin. The HydraFacial™ treatment stimulates blood circulation in your skin, which can sometimes cause it to look red after the treatment.
