This medical TCA peeling has been specially developed to smooth, lighten, firm and improve the overall skin condition in the genital area. Our treatment is carried out by experienced skin therapists.

The treatment plan includes two peeling sessions and the use of HAPPY Intim® Lightening Cream at home (twice daily) to optimize results.

Preparation: A few weeks before the treatment, start by applying HAPPY Intim® Lightening Cream to the area to be treated. The duration of this is tailored to your skin type, in consultation with your practitioner. You can shave the area the day before the treatment (not on the treatment day itself).

The Treatment: The skin therapist cleans the area to be treated with a mild cleanser for sensitive skin. The Happy Peel peeling fluid is then applied in 1 or 2 layers, depending on the desired result. Immediately after the peeling, HAPPY Intim® Lightening Cream is applied for hydration and cooling.

After Treatment: Expect skin peeling to make way for renewed cells and improved skin condition. The peeling is usually not visible in the genital area and after about 3 to 5 days the new skin becomes visible.

You cannot undergo the treatment if you have the following indications and/or characteristics:

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Acute active infections (herpes simplex) in the treatment area
• Medication (antibiotics, prednisone, penicillin, isotretinoin/roacuttane/vitamin A cream and St. John's wort)
• Fever
• Eczema and Psoriasis
• Scleroderma
• Sunburned skin
• Recent treatment with other chemical peels/dermapen in the treatment area
• Skin cancer, radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy in the past 5 years.

Aftercare HAPPY Intim

Your skin is sensitive after the peeling. Strictly follow the home advice to prevent permanent pigment spots, to prevent the risk of permanent pigment spots.

• On the day of the peeling, the HAPPY Intim® Lightening Cream remains on the skin. Avoid contact with water.
• Only clean the treated skin the next day (in the shower) with Cleanser Foam.
• Apply HAPPY Intim® Lightening Cream twice a day.
• Do not wear tight pants that may irritate the treatment area.
• Avoid abrasion in the treated area, for example by cycling.
• Is the weather nice and are you wearing short skirts or a bikini? Then protect your peeled skin with a medical sunscreen.

Reimbursements

Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by health insurer reimbursements.

Expected results

After 2 Happy Peel sessions you can expect the skin in your intimate zone to become 1 to 2 shades lighter. The final result depends on your starting point and skin type.

What can I do myself for maximum results?

• After the treatment with HAPPY Intim® Happy Peel, HAPPY Intim Lightening Cream is applied. This cream ensures that your skin recovers faster and better, so leave it on until the next morning and apply some more before going to bed.
• Do not clean the treated skin until the next day in the shower.
• Use the HAPPY Intim® Lightening Cream at least twice a day.
• Avoid direct sunlight for 6 weeks and/or protect the skin with Melablock SPF 30 or 50+ in case the treatment area comes into contact with sunlight (such as your armpits).
• Immediately after the 1st peeling session and up to 2 weeks after the last peeling, we advise you not to apply peels or scrubs to the treated area or to undergo similar treatments in another clinic or beauty salon.
• It is advisable not to have laser hair removal treatments carried out in the treated area until 2 months after the last peeling session.
• Avoid high temperatures (sauna, hammam) for up to 2 weeks after the peeling treatment.
• In the rare cases that you experience an unwanted reaction, such as rash, severe itching, fever or cold sores, contact your practitioner.
