Camouflage therapy is a treatment that can be used to camouflage skin disorders / color deviations of the skin and make it less noticeable. Various camouflage products are available, whereby the color or color combination can also be chosen. The skin therapist provides information and advice to match the camouflage as closely as possible with your skin. There are special concealers that the patient can apply themselves after the right product and color have been determined

Camouflage therapy can be used for the following indications:

• Pigment disorders (melasma, chloasma, vitiligo, nevus depigmentosus) and other hypo- and hyperpigmentation
• Vascular disorders (nevus flammeus, wine stain, capillaries and hemangioma)
• Rosacea
• Acne
• Scars
• Tattoos

You cannot undergo the treatment if you have the following indications and/or characteristics:

• Eczema
• Ulcus cruris
• Bacterial skin infections
• Parasitic skin infections
• Fungal infections and viral skin infections.

Aftercare

After the consultation with the skin therapist, you are able to apply the camouflage yourself. Depending on the location and the size of the surface to be camouflaged, the product will last several months.
